The next 4 contests would prove to be difficult for Andorra, with 4 straight first round eliminations coming their way. Dementia Protocol came 21st in the semis and Mazoni came 27th, scoring just 8 points. Jena Lee came 8th in the newly introduced quarter-finals in the 6th contest, whilst in contest number 7 Marta Roure, another former Eurovision artist scored a first for Andorra, their very first last placed finish, 14th in the quarters.
After this poor run of form Andorra desperately needed a good result and they achieved it with Gary Fico in the 8th edition, getting Andorra just their 2nd final appearance he came home in 16th. Not a great result but one which must have felt like a victory for the tiny nation.
That was to be their only other final appearance, the next contest Andorra once again finished last in the quarters, Naim Thomas came home in 13th, The Pinker Tones made the semi before losing out on account of the wildcard, 12th was their finishing position. Elena Gadel also made it through to the semi where she finished 15th and in the most recent 12th contest Roser and Flavio Rodrigeuz crashed out in the quarters managing just 15th place.
